Nautique Central combined with Ronix Wakeboards and professional wakeboarder, Hayley Smith are pleased to announce an all new style of event. Aimed specifically to help grow the involvement of women throughout the sport of wakeboarding, and boating in general, we bring to the state of Queensland, Nautique Ladies Day Presented by Ronix.
“I am so excited about offering this event to the public. There are many girls out there who have access to boats though are too timid to use them, or simply haven’t been taught.” Said 2010’s Australian Female Wakeboarder of the Year, Hayley Smith. “I hope to teach mums, wives, daughters and girlfriends in a fun, relaxed environment, building their excitement for wakeboarding and boating!”
Hayley will be hands on teaching ladies young and old how to become a better boat driver, how to tow a wakeboader and how to handle wakeboard specific boats like her fully Ronix customised Super Air Nautique 210. Throughout the locations there will also be different elements added, such as driving a car with a boat trailer, and launching and loading the boat and trailer.
The ladies will also have the chance to get out behind the Ronix 210 and strap on their wakeboard, with boards by Ronix. Hayley will use her coaching skills to help those involved not only how to captain a boat, but also help develop greater skills on their boards.
The Nautique Ladies Day will tour from the Tweed River up through to Maraboon Dam, Emerald, Central Queensland, and will finish with a season ending party on the Gold Coast.
Tweed River , Chinderah – March 26 & 27
