Kris

Right on! That's the whole point of creating a place like WakeGirls. We don't want any haters around here. I don't get why people get so pissy when someone else joins a sport and finds that they love it. The more the merrier I say, especially if it's girls. I know for a fact there are guys out there that would much prefer to have a boat full of girls that actually ride than girls who prefer to sun themselves. I say keep posting here on the forums, if you have videos that you want others to check out post on the facebook page, if there's a video you think needs to be on the site let us know. This community is here for all the girls that love to ride, and for us to be successful, we need to get you guys involved in what we're doing. Keep on keepin' on, girl.

Starting to pop the inside outs and turning them into some little insideout 180s Smiley little steps but LOVING every minute of being on the water!!! My season however is cut off for a couple of months now that I am in Colorado for the summer....By the way...ANYONE IN COLORADO RIDING?Huh I wont have much time off but when I do get a day or two i will be itching to shred!!

Lucky girl, Abs.  I'm in upstate NY and we still had snow and ice chunks on Mothers Day, it was 28 degrees...

Things are in full effect now and I'm ready to make the most of the time that I have.  Just started skating last season for about four pulls.  I'm a total noob and this season I'd like to get my ollie down solid.  That's my big ambition, haha.  But we've all gotta start somewhere?

Where in CO?  I've got some friends in the Breck area who hit up this reservoir lake sometimes.  I might be able to hook you up with that.

GatorSkater....getting that ollie down will feel soooo goood! I still feel like a noob too but honestly its the best, there is always something new to try and land and when you do the stoke is sooo high!!! Im pumped your season is finally in full swing! Ice Chunks on mothers day is Bruts for sure!!! But ya keep us posted on new tricks you are working on, I love to hear about new progression!

I am out in Bailey CO at a camp for the summer but on my days off I am out in the Keystone/Dillon area, about 15min from Breck!! I have all my stuff with me so I am determined to get out and ride for sure! Its sooo hard not being on my board, I am going to start sleeping with it at night or something...getting some mad separation anxiety!!!!!!!

Dillion has a sweet lake, right?  I'll send an e-mail to my friend and see if he has any boat traffic to help you out with.  I bet you are jonsin' for a fix in a bad way.

Thanks for the encouragement.  It was a baby ollie, bit I hit my first successful one just the other day.  Amped on going back out to get them down solid.

hii ladiiies! im brand new to the site & im already in love. so stoked there is finally something to give recognition to the females out there doing their thing.. ive been wakeskating for a little less than a year now and love every second. Im fortunate to have a few good friends including my boyfriend that own boats and jet skiis. I live in boca raton, florida and i try and ride everyday. My boyfriend has a 19 foot Grady White with a tower which is awesome, and he lives on the hilsboro canal so we can ride whenever we want, weather permitting of course. Evening sessions means glasssssssss & a sunset which is always nice. I ride behind a Key West and two of my friends have Nautiques as well . We ride at Lake Ida, Lake Okeeheelee & Lake Clarke Shores.. for anyone whos from florida Smiley  and i as well am the only girl in the group of guys i ride with and im not nearly as good as them but proud of what i can do.. they shred.. lol literally, i look up to all of them. Im the photographer and filmer when im not riding, so its cool i can go back and study what their doing. im stuck on learning to shuv though, if anyone has any advicee.. i ride regular but my dominant foot is my left which is weird cause im a righty. lol

keep shredding  Smiley

SHredwakeskate....Glad you made your way to the site!!!! I'm from Wisconsin but I am down in Florida a few times a year....We should ride next time I make my way down!

Your riding situation sounds perfect, everyday shred, sunset sessions...cant beat that!!!
...end of last year/beginning of this season I finally stomped my shuvs.....practice practice practice is all I can say, I would go out for days and just lay them out over and over...LOTS of face plants but you will get it soon enough.  Also remember to keep your feet wide, and vision yourself stomping it.. that helps me.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress!  Grin

I have about 3 weeks till I'm back home and can hit the dance floor again...can not wait to skate!!!!! 3months is to :ooo :ooo looo :onnnggg without being on a board!
